Postnatal Doula Services
As a postnatal doula I am there to support the family practically and emotionally in a very flexible and adaptable way. This support is usually in the first weeks after the birth of a new baby but can extend to months if it is needed. The level of support can be dictated by you. I can:
- Help you navigate your way through the overwhelming amount of advice and information that comes along with having a baby
- Debrief the birth and allow you to tell your story in a safe and non judgemental space
- Provide emotional support and reduce anxiety
- Provide feeding support
- Support in caring for the baby (bathing, sleeping, baby wearing, bonding, massage)
- Advise on your, and your family’s, self care and wellbeing
- Run errands and help around the house
- Cook family meals
- Look after pets or help entertain siblings
- Tend to the baby so you can rest or wash
- Accompany you to appointments or baby groups
- Give you confidence to be the parents you want to be
- Do what is needed to help you and your new family relax and enjoy the journey after birth
- As a mentored doula with Doula UK, working towards becoming a recognised doula, the experience I have gained on my journey as a doula so far is reflected in my fees.
Postnatal Doula
package is £260
This includes:
- A free initial consultation for you to get to know me and decide if we are the right fit for each other and to establish exactly what you would like from me as your postnatal doula
- 20 hours of postnatal support distributed in a way that suits you and your family. How you choose to use my support is up to you (each visit must be a minimum duration of 3 hours)
Visits over a period of days, weeks or months after the birth depending on need
*If you require any additional visits these will be charged at £15 per hour (minimum 3 hours per visit)
*Additional mileage will be charged at 45p/mile for distances over 10 miles
Postnatal Doula Hour by Hour
package is charged at an hourly rate
of £15 per hour
This includes:
- A free initial consultation for you to get to know me and decide if we are the right fit for each other and to establish exactly what you would like from me as your postnatal doula
- Postnatal support distributed in a way that suits you and your family. How you choose to use my support is up to you (each visit must be a minimum duration of 3 hours)
Visits booked on an hour by hour basis over a period of days, weeks or months after the birth depending on need
*Additional mileage will be charged at 45p/mile for distances over 10 miles
